The Irish News is seeking an ambitious and digitally focused Live Sports Journalist to join our award-winning sports team.
You'll produce breaking news, live blogs, features, interviews and analysis while helping to grow our sports coverage across digital, social, video, audio and print platforms.

- Journalism qualification or relevant media experience.
- Experience in sports reporting across print, digital or broadcast.
- Excellent writing, news judgment and sports knowledge.
- Strong understanding of digital publishing and social media.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and generate original story ideas.
- Full driving licence.
