An exciting opportunity is currently available at our Tralee office for an individual looking to start a career in logistics by combining on-the-job training with studies at the MTU Cork Campus for the QQI level 6 Higher Certificate in Logistics. You will learn while you earn as you build a solid foundation for your future career.

Training area and job description:

  • • Working in the warehouse, picking, packing, despatching orders
  • • Goods in checking off, booking in and restocking goods.
  • • Loading and unloading trucks with the forklift
  • • Pricing different freight options for Ireland and all over Europe.
  • • Preparing customs paperwork for shipments outside of the EU etc

Applicant must meet one of the LAA program entry criteria:

  • • H7/O6 or above in five leaving certificate (or equivalent) subjects. A minimum of grade O6 must be obtained in English. A minimum of grade O6 or a B2 or above in Foundation level must be obtained in mathematics.
  • • Holders of a QQI Level 5 or Level 6 (or equivalent) in cognate areas (e.g. business, logistics and distribution, supply chain management)
  • • Applicants may also be eligible to become apprentices via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
