Logistics Export Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Export Coordinator position. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, full-time role. This role is based in our busy Supply Chain Team at our Wexford factory in Ireland and reports to the Logistics Export Manager.

Outline of the Role:

The Logistics Export Coordinator will support the Logistics Dept. by providing comprehensive and effective administration support across the logistics Dept. on all our export deliveries, while providing support where needed on Logistic matters for the site.

Core responsibilities include but not limited to the generation and processing of accurate and timely documentation that is necessary for the movement of our final products to our customers.

Critical to this role is high attention to detail and a systematic approach to how documentation is generated, maintained, processed, and recorded in our systems.

The scope of this role and its associated responsibilities are limited to the operations on the Wexford site.

More job duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• To provide all necessary documentation accompanying the stock including Delivery Notes and process invoices for Exports.
• Collate certificates from state bodies when required (i.e., for customs purposes when shipping internationally)
• Process and maintain tracker reports after data entry. Organise and maintain records as evidence to support transactions and to form part of the audit file.
• Partake in the development of efficient and effective management information systems and procedures that allow swift and easy access to key documents and files
• Ensure level of professionalism during interaction with third party logistics service providers & all stakeholders.
• Assist colleagues both internally and externally, with queries regarding documentation and transactions related to the delivery of our goods
• Participate in meetings to improve productivity and to resolve customer service issues
• Creation of SOPs for our logistics processes aligned to operations, quality, and safety aspects.
• Participate and contribute to projects which will improve our processes & increase productivity for the site.
• Organising of urgent RoRo shipments for loading at both the factory and 3pl warehouse to expediate product to the market.
• Creation of P/O’s for RoRo shipments to market outside standard shipping lanes.

About you

The Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in related discipline such as Supply Chain Management and / or Transport Management
• Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Knowledge of customs documentation and preparation.
