Logistics Manager
Your mission as a Logistics Manager
In this role, you’ll focus on route planning and execution to ensure the most effective delivery to our customers across the island of Ireland. Thanks to you and your team, we provide our 4000 customers with an excellent customer experience every week.
What else will you be doing as a Logistics Manager?Monitor and report on Key Logistic KPIs, including OTIF and cost efficiency
Utilise technology and software tools to automate processes and increase efficiency
Responsible for vehicle planning and allocation of fleet to locations to fulfill daily orders
Work closely with dispatch teams to maximise utilisation of trucks and to ensure complete and timely deliveries to depots
Lead and manage the logistics team, including drivers, depot leads and dispatch staff
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the logistics function
Collaborate with other departments, such as customer care and sales, to align logistics strategies with overall business goals.
Working closely and communicating effectively with other departments; laundry, customer care, sales and purchasing to ensure customer and business expectations are met
Contribute to project work, including route optimisations.

A relevant Third Level Qualification or work in a similar role with over 3 years’ experience
A strong knowledge of systems (ERP, MS Suite; Excel, Word, CRM, Route Optimisation software) and detailed administration
Excellent process implementation and people management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow
Team focused collaborative approach to work
Flexibility to work outside standard hours during peak periods or in response to urgent logistical needs.
