Due to business expansion, we now invite applications for the following full-time, permanent positions based at our Omagh mill.

Logistics Planners
Early morning shift (6am – 2pm) Job Ref No: FVF/LPE/01/26
Evening shift (2pm – 10pm) Job Ref No: FVF/LPL/01/26

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Logistics Planners will be an integral part of the Customer Services Department, being responsible for production and transport planning.

The Role:

• To assist with the scheduling of production plans and customer delivery plans;
• To assist with the transport routing of deliveries;
• To shunt vehicles and trailers around the yard and load customer orders onto vehicles;
• To process incoming customer orders and allocate these to the internal planning systems;
• To provide customer support and manage predictive ordering software to maximise customer service.

The Person:

• Will preferably have experience of planning and routing HGV’s;
• Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications, transport planning software or sales order processing software;
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a busy team;
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a friendly telephone manner, an organised and methodical approach to work as well the ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail;
• Will preferably have experience of working in a busy office environment, ideally in a customer services role.
• Ideally will hold a valid C+E licence or shunter licence;
• Ideally have an understanding of the Northern Ireland agricultural industry.
