​​​​​​​Summary of Role:

• Collect and deliver raw material / finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver raw material / finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner;
• Complete daily raw collection sheet, daily vehicle safety inspection sheet and required vehicle cleaning records;
• Keep all documentation in a presentable manner and return signed to office as required;
• Forklift driving as well as loading and unloading of lorries.

The Person:

• Full and current UK Driving Licence with HGV Class 1 Licence;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Experience of driving artic lorries;
• Excellent geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland and Ireland road network;
• Valid CPC Card. 

Preference will be given to those with:

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

Hours of work are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday with variable start and finish times on a four-week rotation basis. The hours of work vary and can be from 9am – 9pm.
