Lounge Coordinator

The Commercial Department of Dublin Airport is a critical business unit for Dublin Airport and daa Group. The Commercial team manage a broad portfolio of products and business partnerships ensuring a quality passenger experience is delivered, authentic business partnerships are developed, and commercial return is maximised. Commercial is a fast paced, challenging and opportunity seeking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish business partnerships with lounge contractors through proactive account management to ensure the day-to-day operation, performance, and standards of each of the lounge products are operating in line with daa’s expectations as set out in the SLA with the lounge operator.
  • Conduct bi-weekly lounge audits, hold weekly meetings with the lounge operator, prepare the SLA scoring and monthly pack for the Quarterly Business Reviews with the Lounge Operator management team.
  • Responsible for the relationship with Asset Care and third-party contractors, ensuring that all lounge equipment and fit out is always maintained.
  • End to end management of third-party invoicing and purchasing order process
  • Key interface between Commercial and AMD /Operations / Asset Care / H&S regarding project/ construction works – facilitating changes and projects as necessary and managing all future lounges, lounge innovations and lounge related products in the DATS portfolio.
  • Ensure engagement with service providers on all airport developments and minimise the impact of airport operations on the lounges.
  • Ensure customer service standards and track customer feedback including complaints. Action these as appropriate.
  • Manage repair and maintenance budget in conjunction with Asset Care.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years in either an operation or a Hospitality environment.
  • Solution driven, can do attitude with the ability to work on own initiative. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to manage challenging conversations and influence situations. Proactive demonstrable approach to problem solving Ability to work under pressure and handle conflicting priorities. Strong operational background.
