Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Maintenance Technician

We now require a Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Maintenance Technician

This is a “Hands on” Facilities/Operations Maintenance Role.

Duties:

• Ensure the maintenance of production and other facilities equipment utilising internal or external resources/contractors as appropriate
• Coordinate the activities of external contractors while on site
• Perform and supervise maintenance related repairs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
• Ensure that a scheduled maintenance program is implemented and adhered to
• Ensure that all maintenance records and documentation are maintained in line with Quality Systems requirements.
• Lead, train and supervise other maintenance staff
• Liaise with parts and equipment suppliers and initiate purchase orders as required
• Work in conjunction with other operational team section heads to ensure that operational efficiency and effectiveness is achieved and that all business goals are met

Applicant should have:

• Fluent English with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Senior Trades Qualified Fitter or equivalent
• Minimum 8/10 years post qualification experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good “Hands On” & “Can Do” attitude, and ability to work unsupervised in a multifunctional team
• Good interpersonal/organisation skills
