Maintenance Person

A.W Ennis Ltd., a leading animal feed manufacturer based in Virginia, Co. Cavan is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Person with welding experience.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be required to undertake routine preventive maintenance and the trouble shooting of breakdowns.

The ideal candidate will be conscientious and able to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time permanent position.

Key Tasks and Duties:

• Maintenance of all site machinery and equipment.
• Assist with the commissioning of new equipment.
• Trouble shooting and repairs of non-functioning machinery.#
• Use of welding and cutting equipment.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements of the role:

• Have a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Be Health and Safety conscious.
• Be able to take direction and act upon issues.
• Have the ability to manage time effectively.
• Be reliable.
• Be an effectivetrouble-shooter and quality focused.

Work Schedule:

• 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8 am until 5 pm, Friday 8 am until 4 pm
• Overtime
• On-call rota once training is completed

Pay:

• Competitive rate of pay
• On-call allowance
