Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

We are currently recruiting for a Full-time Maintenance Technician (electrical) to join our team in Cork City.
Working pattern: Monday to Sunday, shifts.
Overall Purpose:
Support facilities management, planned maintenance, health & safety, and energy management to ensure a safe, comfortable, and cost-effective environment. Handle both planned and unplanned maintenance of plant and utilities according to EHS and Quality standards.
Overall Purpose of the Job
Work within a multi-skilled team maintain a good relationship and liaise with the client's representative on day to day issues, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance including troubleshooting on electrical systems and equipment to a good standard and within defined timescales. Ensure that procedures and standards meet or exceed the client’s expectations
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing Subcontractors
- Emergency lighting, general lighting
- Data & Telecoms equipment
- Motive power
- Thermal Imaging (preference but not essential)
- Fixed electrical testing / PAT testing Perform electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Water & booster pumps/ HVAC equipment i.e. pumps, chillers. A/C split units etc (electrical only)
- Reactive callouts
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Electrical Junior and Senior Trades and or City & Guilds are essential.
- Experience working in the regulatory environment (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Clean Driving License
- Good communication skills both verbal & written
- Experience in using MS office/ CMMS/CAFM systems
