Management Accountant

The Management Accountant will be employed on permanent contract and will work with the senior finance team responsible for managing the financial resources of the Hospital. The post holder, together with the senior finance team, will be responsible for ensuring that the Hospital controls its fiduciary affairs in accordance with statutory obligations. The senior finance team has responsibility to ensure that the Hospital’s financial and accountability culture draws from the best recommended practices. The Management Accountant will assist in a number of areas within the Finance Department and contribute to production of the annual financial statements in compliance with the Companies Acts and Accounting Standards for Voluntary Hospitals as issued by the Department of Health, ensuring that adequate systems and records are maintained.
