Management Accountant

· 1.0WTE (35 hours)

· Indefinite Duration

· H.S.E. funded

· Based in Harold Cross

The post holder will prepare and analyse the monthly management accounts. Other duties will include supporting managers in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets, responsibility for the payroll function and managing cost containment initiatives.The post holder will also work closely with the Business Intelligence Manager to ensure the financial viability of the organisation

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

· Hold a professional accountancy qualification as awarded by a recognized accountancy body

Experience:

· Possess experience of the preparation and reporting of Monthly Management Accounts including costing, budgeting, forecasting
and projections

· Experience planning and preparing statutory audit and financial statements.

· 3+ years post qualification experience at Financial Management level

· Advanced IT skills incl. Microsoft suite, financial systems

Desirable Requirements

Experience:

· Working knowledge of SAP payroll system or similar payroll systems.

· Financial experience at management level in a Health Services setting
