Located in Dublin, Cruiserath Biologics Campus, a one billion Multi-Product Cell Culture Biologics Manufacturing facility plays a central role in the Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) network as the company’s first European biologics manufacturing facility. This state of the art facility will produce multiple therapies for the company’s growing biologics portfolio. Global Biologics Laboratory (GBL) responsible for the release testing of Biologics Drug product for the network, is also based on the Cruiserath Biologics Campus.

The Role



Bristol Myers Squibb is looking to recruit a Manager, Market Supply Planning, on a Fixed-Term Contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Market Supply Planning, the Manager, Market Supply Planning, is accountable to plan & coordinate, the integration of market supply strategies and operational execution with BMS supply sites (internal or external) and global stakeholders to ensure a balance of exceptional customer service while supporting site operational efficiency efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of key business drivers of the industry and will leverage relationships, systems and processes to drive value to the organization, and our customers while ensuring patient supply.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute finished goods supply plans for commercial markets and actively manage orders as per agreed inventory SLA levels and lead times.

  • Prepare and maintain stock overview for markets and identify shortages, excess inventory, and potential obsolescence risks. Proactively identify, and escalate potential market supply risks.

  • Ensure risk management process is executed and communicated to all key BMS stakeholders (GSC, Supply Chain Product Lead (SCPL), External Manufacturing etc.) as per agreed times

  • Compile information and present market level S&OP or supply planning meetings, as required and on behalf of MSO market cluster team.

  • Ensure key supply chain performance metrics are achieved, providing root cause analysis, commentary and remediation (Anticipated Backorders, PO Compliance, Inventory Levels, Potential Write-Offs) according to agreed times and as per BMS rules.

  • Ensure effective implementation of regulatory/ artwork changes into market supply, in liaison with GRS and key stakeholders’, minimizing obsolescence and supply risk.

  • Monitor MRP planning process in the BMS ERP system to ensure demand propagation process runs effectively.

  • Collaborate with External manufacturing and sites to ensure demand changes are incorporated into production plans as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • Collaborate with MSO leadership, to strengthen BMS market and site relationships to ensure customer focus with required production in place to meet market demand.

  • Support government tenders, direct import programs and clinical supply requests in liaison with market partners and demand planners, as needed.

  • Ensure Master Data is maintained through collaboration with Markets and Mfg. sites.

  • Support New Product Launches and Product discontinuation or divestitures as required.

  • Support continuous improvement of business processes with BMS Sites, MSO team and Global Supply Chain stakeholders while ensuring supply continuity.

  • Provide input, as required into quarterly inventory projections and budgeting process, highlighting changes in forecast trends and connecting with relevant supply sites.

  • Support Senior Manager with market cluster projects and initiatives as needed.

Please note- there is 10 -15% travel required as part of this role

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • 5 years’ experience preferably pharmaceutical, consumer product or related company.

  • Experience in supply planning or manufacturing and supply chain.

  • Knowledge of MRP systems and processes with strong competency in an ERP system (SAP or similar)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness of global practices where business is conducted, while navigating a regional and culturally diverse organization.

  • Strongly Preferred: Experience in working internationally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strongly Preferred: Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements (EMA, TGA).
