Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Systems Co Ordinator to contribute to the Terex Production Control team.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Systems Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing systems, processes and procedures to maximise safety, quality and delivery and to minimize cost, whilst ensuring control and a good flow of information between various departments.

This role is in-person and comes with an option of a 4 or 5 day working week.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Following & improving current processes in order to create and communicate schedules within the factory and to external customers

  • Working as part of the current multi-discipline Production Control team in Terex Dungannon, the successful candidate will be responsible for receiving orders from Sales / Aftermarkets and ensuring they move through the factory in a timely manner
  • Manage multiple schedules and ensure adherence to promised dates
  • Creating Works Orders, Serial Numbers etc and prepare machines on the system to load into the factory for production
  • Lead meetings to ensure all departments are across requisite details on machines loading
  • Develop an understanding of current processes as well as having an enthusiasm to try new methods & ideas in order to improve these processes
  • Working within the Inventory & Materials teams to ensure stock is utilised correctly, obsolete stock is minimalised and overall inventory levels are kept under control
  • Highly suitable for those with an engineering background, with a desire to enter the industry from a production planning, scheduling and inventory control point of view

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience working within an MRP system is desirable
  • Degree or equivalent desirable but not essential
  • Willingness to think outside the box to resolve issues
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • GCSEs or equivalent in English & Maths at Grade C or above
