Role & Essential Functions: Marketing & Communications Administrator
- Social Media Management: Day to day management of social media platforms including posting company news and announcements.
- Website control: Day to day management of company website, updating data, plugins and running analysis.
- Business promotion: Advertising and promotion through various different platforms. Responsibility to arrange and control all advertising and promotional activity for the company, including creation of adverts.
- Marketing material: Creating, editing and controlling the company brochures and presentations. Presentations will need to be created for specific occasions and collaborations on these projects is essential. Trading asset sale promotion.
- Marketing campaigns: Arrange and manage marketing campaigns in line with business strategy.
- Brand protection: Logo and trademark design and protection. Corporate image analysis and review.
- Promotional merchandise: Source, order and manage company promotional materials and giveaways.
- Industry events: Organise industry conferences and tradeshows; be the main point of contact for all events, including organising meetings and putting forward proposals for new events.
- Market research: Business intelligence research into new and emerging markets. Industry data compliation, analysis and review of existing markets. Client profiling.
- Business development travel: Organising business development trips including pricing all aspects of the trip, research on all potential meetings and presenting the research to senior management.
- Corporate events: Organising company charity, promotional and staff events.
- Corporate communication: Issuance and control of all company communication and media releases through various different media outlets.
Preferred Experience:
- At least two (2) years experience in marketing or corporate communications role.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous marketing experience.
- Previous experience with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) tasks.
- Strong computer and IT skills.
- Excellent skills with promotional and marketing materials generation.
- Graphic design skills would be advantageous.
- Organised and neat.
- Good attention to detail.
- Positive attitude.
- Customer focused.
- Responsible and able to take ownership of projects.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to be a team player within and between departments but can also work alone.
- Respectful of peers and superiors.
- An interest in learning and developing new skills within the department.
