Marketing Associate
OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE
To support the Global Marketing Manager in the implementation of the annual marketing plan for Almac Sciences to generate customer-centric growth.
The Marketing Associate will be expected to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and work closely with the Almac Group Corporate Marketing team to produce and drive delivery of marketing tactics on a daily basis and support in marketing activities.
JOB-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESThe post holder will support:
Support the implementation of key elements of the marketing plan for Almac Sciences’ business with direction and support from the Almac Sciences’ Global Marketing Manager.
Liaise directly with the Corporate Marketing Events team to manage and execute Almac Sciences’ global conference and events schedule, including:
Booking events
Agreeing speakers and topics
Event logistics including merchandise inventory
Engaging with Almac Sciences’ Business Development Managers and relevant SMEs
Event promotion
Liaise with technical and subject matter experts across the business to assist with the generation of thought leadership articles, blogs, case studies, and brochure material to ensure accurate reflection of developments and alignment with business objectives.
Support the generation of appropriate multi-channel communication campaign activity to promote Almac Sciences’ services to target markets including:
Targeted eMail (eDM) activity
Advertising & profiles
Website management
Digital marketing
PR
Social media
Actively collaborate with all Business Development Managers and Project Managers to support client-facing meetings and calls, identify issues and opportunities, and ensure teams are equipped with relevant, up-to-date materials including slide decks, brochureware, and other key materials.
Support Almac Sciences’ Global Marketing Manager and Business Development Admin team to manage CRM system, leads, and prospecting activities.
Effectively monitor and report on analytics information (e.g. HubSpot, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and any other sources) to track ROI and make recommendations to improve marketing performance and key measurement metrics.
Liaise with external agencies and Corporate Marketing to generate brand-compliant material to deliver agreed campaigns as per the marketing plan.
Work closely with the Corporate Marketing team and internal Almac Sciences’ teams to ensure Almac Sciences messaging and positioning meet communication needs, are brand-compliant, and support the company’s overall growth strategy.
Work closely with the Market Insights team, when appropriate, to conduct key market research activity to help inform and guide the development of Almac Sciences’ services, including:
Industry trends
Competitor intelligence
Client insights
Maintain data records including purchase order creation, marketing spend, PR activities, event schedule, etc., to ensure the most up-to-date information is available for key stakeholders.
Perform other projects and duties as requested or assigned.
BA or BSc degree qualification (or equivalent) in Marketing / Communications / Business Studies
Experience working in a marketing role, delivering campaigns and initiatives, and working with agencies
Awareness and experience of all relevant marketing channels
Experience of creating engaging content
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Analysing and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage own workload
Ability to work within cross-functional teams
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients
