Marketing Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Social media:

  • Support the hotel's digital content strategy and manage all property social media channels, creating relevant and engaging content and increasing follower engagement. Provide social media live ‘story’ coverage of daily property happenings and events
  • Ensure all social media content and copy adheres to brand image and tone / language.
  • Measurement of social media reach, activity effectiveness, and ROI on advertising.

Database management:

  • Assist in the Management of all databases and ensure full application and compliance with GDPR legislation.
  • Manage and execute all email marketing campaigns utilising branded ezine systems, and measurement of ROI on all campaigns.
  • Work with all industry third party organisations, to maximise marketing opportunities e.g. Failte Ireland

Hotel website:

  • Primary ownership of the hotel website, content and booking engine. Working closely with the revenue manager and our external provider to drive usage and, ultimately, conversion to bookings.

PR:

  • Manage all PR visits by media including electronic, print and bloggers.
  • Assist in distribution of press releases to targeted media.

Collateral

  • Maintain, and update when required, all resort printed material.

Sponsorship

  • To act as gatekeeper for all resort sponsorships embarked upon.

The candidate:

  • Strong command of the English language both written and spoken.
  • Evidence of previous social media management
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Highly organised, strong team player and ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Team player.
