Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the West Europe Beverages team, helping to lead the iconic Pepsi Max, Pepsi and 7up brands as we accelerate our journey to a more sustainable future with less sugar and less single use plastic. This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the worlds most admired beverage brands in markets that have huge growth potential. We’re looking for a high potential marketer that can help drive a change agenda and ensure our brands are growing ahead of the category and disrupting the competition. A willingness to challenge the status quo, push creative boundaries and ground their thinking in a local commercial reality will be key.

Primary Accountabilities:

Development of the Cluster Brand Growth Strategy (BGS) for the relevant Beverage brands in the West Europe (WE) Cluster

Working in partnership with the marketing director & BU’s to develop the BGS’s

Integrating the local needs of the BU’s and any relevant insights from the Integrated Commercial Process (ICP)

Ensuring alignment across key markets and resolving any tensions / conflicts

Leadership through the ICP process and in key projects across the cluster

Helping to orchestrate and contribute to the annual ICP process in collaboration with the BU’s

Owning key cross-market projects identified as critical to the combined success of the BU’s, working in partnership with them to deliver the agreed outputs

Facilitating and collaborating with the markets to help create local plans

Assisting the BU’s on the H1-H2 calendars, ensuring key assets are delivered on time and in full

Working with the BU’s to ensure shared projects have key alignment between markets and any tensions are resolved in line with the brand strategy

Ensure the Brand strategy and local consumer are central to the decision making within the BU’s

Ensuring governance against the Brand Guidelines & BGS

Ensuring the local markets understand and execute the BGS for the relevant brands in those markets

Ensuring compliance against the BGS so all marketing efforts are aligned to the cluster strategy

Aligning and validating our plans within the sector team

Working with the Marketing Director to ensure the BU plans are understood and aligned across the sector

Working with the BU’s to resolve any discrepancies between the sector brand strategy and local execution

Qualifications/Requirements

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 7-10 years brand management experience

• Brand strategy background preferred

• Has a thirst for understanding local consumers and developing solutions against relevant local insights

• Ability to harness strong insights from diverse sets of data

• Strong Project Management skills

• Leadership to drive long term strategies and empower high performing teams to act as owners, etc.

• Working in a matrix organization – highly persuasive individual who can take others with them

• Good commercial understanding of how the BU’s work and operate
