At our Edgeworthstown Site, we are seeking a proactive Materials Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end material flow, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of ingredients and packaging to support production demands. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of Supplier Purchase Orders in conjunction with demand.
  • Calling off materials based on demand.
  • Constant PO maintenance on MRP system.
  • To facilitate weekly meetings with all Key Suppliers reporting any concerns.
  • To manage adherence to supplier consignment stock agreements.
  • Participation in NPD meetings including the management of run in, run out process.
  • To review quarterly potential obsolescent reviews for clearance to minimise financial exposure.
  • To review ingredient aged product seeking extensions where feasible to minimise waste.
  • Maintain transitional dates of BOM up to date in conjunction with the Master Data Controller.
  • To manager on site inventory in accordance with capacity and aligned with Working Capital targets.
  • Timely reporting of any issues.
  • Preparation and support in periodic reporting: OTIF

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple POs, inventory levels, and MRP updates.
  • Prioritises effectively and meets deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.

  • Able to identify risks early and propose solutions.
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Good level of IT computer literacy – full Microsoft package, Excel, word, PowerPoint
  • Communicates openly, supports others, and contributes to a cohesive team environment.
