We are now looking for a Materials Expeditor (Permanent role) to join our team in Stamullen, County Meath.
Summary of Role:
To ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials, coordinate with suppliers, and manage inventory to support smooth operations in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent Material to Production within agreed time frames.
- Co-ordinate Returns Management of material to the warehouse.
- Monitor materials required for Production Plan to ensure production schedule remain on track.
- Identify any shortages or bottlenecks that may arise.
- Expedite urgent material from Goods In, to the Production team.
- Co-ordinate all material requests from the Cold store for delivery to Production.
- Use JDE ERP system as main tool for confirming material requests and updating
- transaction.
- Adhoc requests for material from KAMS, Production, Purchasing and Warehouse.
Knowledge / Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- 2 years proven experience in Production/Warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Sound knowledge of PCI Products and Part Numbers.
- Availability for Shift Operation.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel ability.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well capable of working proactively on own initiative.
- Meticulous and diligent.
- Knowledge of ERP would be beneficial.
- Secondary school or diploma; Further education or certification is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards set priorities
Desirable:
- Experience in a GMP or Regulated Environment.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, including experience in Lean tools to develop continuous improvements.
