Materials & Traffic Coordinator

About the Role:

The Materials and Traffic Coordinator will work with between the Materials and Traffic teams in a support role. This is a 12-month contract, a hybrid role of remote and onsite work, based at our Television Studios in Ballymount, Dublin. Experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Materials Team - Duties & Tasks:

  • Assist with content and access services ordering and delivery, ensuring delivery deadlines are met
  • Data entry and rights management input on WoN
  • Assist with weekly access services workflow; generate and download Transmission plan and crosscheck against subs, AD & ISL library
  • Maintain the shared Access Services File live delivery document; updating status of files from ordering to delivery
  • Ensure up to date metadata for programming in WON, including contract details, rights, ancillary services and Albert Carbon calculator status on programming is maintained
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the monthly music reports generation for IMRO & PPI
  • Assist with the compilation of the compliance reports for CnaM

Traffic Team – Duties & Tasks:

  • Assigning copy instructions from agencies to the airtime booked

  • Liaising with Advertising Agencies and the Commercial team in relation to their requirements; Late amendments/bookings/clashes and restrictions.

  • Liaise with transmission, scheduling and content ensuring all commercial content is scheduled correctly, delivered on time and fit for broadcast

  • QC advertising copy to ensure it meets with required technical specifications and is compliant with BAI Advertising Standards

  • Calculating daily commercial allowance and ensuring hourly and daily allowance is not breached

  • Liaising with the Presentation Team to ensure daily schedules are completed and received in Transmission on time

  • Verification and delivery of daily commercial logs to Nielsen for VMTV Broadcast Channels

  • Liaising with the Commercial Operations team to notify them of changes to programmes or breaks so they can accurately update ratings

  • Dealing with commercial queries from Sales/Agencies/members of the public

  • Liaise with creative/media agencies regarding early closedowns for Bank Hol/Christmas etc.

  • Liaise with IMRO regarding commercial music rights.

  • The above list is not exhaustive. You will be expected to perform duties as necessitated by your changing role and the overall business objectives of the Company, as directed

    Skills & Expertise:

  • An understanding of the Irish content sector

  • Competency in software use, in particular content management software

  • Experience as a solutions-focused, team player

  • Experience in Excel and other data management tools

  • Experience generating reports and information for multiple stakeholders

  • Technically strong – comfortable with learning new systems
