Behind the scenes, our fleet plays a critical role in ensuring meals arrive safely, on time, and to the highest standard - and we’re now looking to grow our in-house workshop team.
The Role
As Workshop Technician, you will support the Garage / Mechanic Manager in maintaining our van fleet to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. This is a hands-on role within a busy workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical & Technical
Carry out servicing, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on the company van fleet
Ensure vehicles are maintained in line with manufacturer, legal, and company requirements
Complete preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime
Identify defects and take appropriate corrective action
Workshop Support
Follow workshop procedures and safe working practices at all times
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
Use tools and equipment correctly and report any defects
Compliance & Records
Accurately complete maintenance and job records
Comply with Health & Safety, RSA, and environmental procedures
Teamwork & Development
Work under the direction of the Garage / Mechanic Manager
Participate in training and ongoing skills development
Support efficient and professional workshop operations
About You
Previous mechanical experience in a workshop or fleet environment
Relevant motor vehicle qualification
Ability to follow procedures and work to deadlines
Strong attention to detail and a safety-focused mindset
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Full European driving licence (essential)
