Choice is seeking to appoint a Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager. This role is responsible for delivering and managing planned mechanical and electrical maintenance and project works across the organisation’s property portfolio, ensuring compliance, quality, and value for money. It provides technical expertise and project leadership, overseeing contractors and consultants while maintaining accurate asset data. The post also supports delivery of sustainability and net zero objectives and contributes to effective stakeholder, budget, and team management.

Choice is seeking to appoint a Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager. This role is responsible for delivering and managing planned mechanical and electrical maintenance and project works across the organisation’s property portfolio, ensuring compliance, quality, and value for money. It provides technical expertise and project leadership, overseeing contractors and consultants while maintaining accurate asset data. The post also supports delivery of sustainability and net zero objectives and contributes to effective stakeholder, budget, and team management.
Essential criteria:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree
- At least 3 years’ experience managing or delivering mechanical and/or electrical , contract management, professional services or facilities management service.
- Experience in delivering significant programmes of maintenance (at least £1M) and managing them to quality, time and budget.
- Proficient in the use of CAD
- Detailed technical knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical installations in both a domestic and commercial environment.
- Experience in delivering VFM in Planned projects or similar.
- Demonstrable experience delivering to budget.
