Medical Manpower Lead, Grade VIII

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role involves working in partnership with CHI leadership teams to drive the delivery of people plans and HR strategy in Medical HR; through the effective coordination of people, resources and talent. This includes providing strategic HR advice and guidance to internal Medical teams on strategic HR policies and procedures, to ensure they are supported in their decisions and roles as people managers, and to ensure the right people capability to deliver the required strategy and services, is supported.

The role-holder will partner with key stakeholders and HR partners to map out the Medical HR and Medical Recruitment models ahead of the new hospital and plan and drive the transition. The post holder will support the Clinical Teams, Clinical Directorates and sites.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in relevant field
  • 5 years relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years Supervisory / Management experience
  • Practical experience of use of IT systems / packages
  • Fluent command and understanding of the English language to include spoken and written word.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Masters in a relevant field
  • Similar experience in a comparable size organization in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working in Public Sector

This update to our Onboarding process is aligned to changes in our monthly/fortnightly payroll and with the launch of our new corporate induction program. This process enhancement ensures that we can thoroughly prepare for your arrival and facilitate a smooth transition in your onboarding journey.

So that the Onboarding team can confirm your start date, you will need to ensure that your mandatory training is completed at least 7 days prior to your commencement date.

It is important for you to note that if you do not have your pre-employments and mandatory training completed in time, your commencement date will be deferred to the next available date.
