Medical Screening (LiveWell) Coordinator

Key Accountabilities:

  • Communication with sales account managers and corporate customers to explain the medical screening (LiveWell) programme and process to arrange programme fulfilment
  • Day-to-day running of the administration function with respect to live screenings
  • Managing the online booking system and implementation information for each LiveWell/Medical Screening programme, agreeing timelines with corporate customers and seeing each event through to completion.
  • Remote interaction with customers attending screening and travel on-site with LiveWell Screening Team to co-ordinate on-site activities, manage booking schedule, screening queries and reporting.
  • Managing stock levels
  • Maintenance of computerised and manual patient files and update LiveWell tracker to allow feedback to management team on programme delivery for each account
  • Responding to customer phone calls
  • Supporting the Kilkenny Screening Team with regard to customer queries
  • Supporting the Laboratory with regard to sample queries
  • Adhere to clinical governance processes and ensure SOP compliance.
  • Follow and assist in the development of Medical Screening/LiveWell standard operating procedures.
  • Processing payment of third party contracts following management sign off.
  • Issuing feedback questionnaire on completion of screening on-site.
  • Support the requirements of JCI accreditation through compliance with JCI Standards and SOPs, KPIs and audits.

  • Promote and develop a culture of quality and safety in line with the Vhi H&W QSR Framework and the Vhi H&W Mission, Vision and Values. Ensure that you, and any staff who report into you, initiate and participate in all QSR activities (e.g. audit, risk, incident, complaints) and improvements in keeping with the QSR Framework and Vhi H&W strategic objectives. Ensure that effective QSR policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines (PPPGs) are followed in compliance with statutory obligations, accreditation

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent computer literacy skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) including typing skills
  • Proven accuracy, attention to detail and good follow-through.
  • A high degree of flexibility with good team spirit
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
  • Self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team or on their own; to include initiative, resilience and enthusiasm
  • Full valid driver’s license (travel required).
  • Demonstrates alignment with the Vhi Values. 
  • APA qualification is desirable
