Medicine Counter Assistant

O’Sullivan's Pharmacy is recruiting a permanent, full-time over the counter assistant in our Wilton store Cork. This is a full-time permanent role and the person must be available to work during the day all year, not just the summer months.

5 days per week

39/40 hours per week including every second Saturday, one Sunday every 4 weeks and 2 Bank Holidays a year.

Responsibilities Include:

-Contribute to the smooth running of the front of shop (over-the-counter medicine/cosmetic sales and orders)

- Assist customers with queries and concerns and purchases.

Skills / Capabilities Required

- Customer-focused, excellent customer service skills

- Capable of working in a busy environment

- Able to handle pressure

- Multi-tasking abilities

- Excellent attention to detail

- Interpersonal skills

- Approachable, friendly and professional

- Great initiative and strong work ethic

- Knowledge and experience of OTC medicines is preferable but not essential.

Ideal Start Date is July 7th 2025 but this is flexible.
