Meeting and Events Sales Manager

About the Role

Broadline Recruiters are currently recruiting an experienced Meeting and Events Sales Manager for a busy 4-star hotel in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused hospitality sales professional with strong meetings, events, weddings and corporate sales experience.

The successful candidate will manage enquiries, convert new business and support the hotel in maximising revenue across meetings, conferences, weddings, private events and group bookings.

Your Responsibilities

As Meeting and Events Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing meeting, event, wedding and conference enquiries from initial contact to confirmed booking

• Preparing proposals, contracts, showrounds and client communications

• Driving new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, group and local markets

• Building strong relationships with clients, agents, local businesses and event organisers

• Working closely with operations, conference and banqueting, revenue and front office teams

• Maximising conversion, upselling opportunities and overall event revenue

• Maintaining accurate sales activity, enquiries, bookings and follow-up records

• Supporting marketing activity, promotions and seasonal event campaigns

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel meetings, events, wedding sales or conference sales

• Experience within a 4-star hotel or quality hospitality environment is highly desirable

• Strong sales, negotiation and client relationship skills

• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail

• Commercially focused with the ability to convert enquiries and maximise revenue

• Confident conducting showrounds, proposals and client meetings

• Professional, polished and standards-driven approach

Salary & Benefits

• Salary guide of €45,000–€55,000
