We are currently seeking a Meetings & Events Manager to lead and oversee the seamless execution of all meetings, conferences, and events at Radisson Blu Sligo. As the Meetings & Events Operations Manager, you will manage all aspects of meetings and event operations. You’ll work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Director of Sales to deliver high-quality events and exceed revenue goals. At Radisson Blu Sligo, we pride ourselves on flawless execution, and your leadership will ensure that every event runs seamlessly.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate the daily Meetings & Events Operations
Collaborate with the sales and reservations teams to drive bookings and maximise revenue
Lead and motivate a dedicated Meetings & Events Operations team to deliver exceptional service
Ensure meeting and function spaces are prepared to the highest standards
Supervise food & beverage service during events, maintaining brand quality
Proactively handle guest feedback and implement improvements
Develop strategies with the Director of Sales to grow event revenue
Conduct regular audits to maintain operational excellence
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Meetings & Events role within a 4-star+ hotel or venue
Proven leadership and people management skills
Track record of success in event sales and operations
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
Strong communication and customer service skills
In-depth knowledge of event setups, F&B standards, and operations
Formal leadership qualification or industry accolades
Previous experience with a recognised hospitality brand like Radisson Blu Sligo
