Tirlán is offering a unique opportunity for a graduate to join our Milk Supply Team. This role will be a combination of being based in our collaboration hub in Abbey Quarter, and periods of travel throughout the Tirlán catchment area
Responsibilities
- You’ll gain experience across the Milk Supply Function to include managing on farm milk quality and compliance to regulations, milk supplier account management, while pursuing a career in a challenging and fast-moving environment.
- You will work closely with the Milk Supply Manager team, gaining experience in terms of one to one farmer engagement and problem solving
- You will advance your technical experience while collaborating on project work with the wider Tirlán functions including Agribusiness, Transport and Q&C
- You will develop areas ranging from on-farm interactions, technical knowledge of the dairy industry and project management.
- Maintaining compliance documentation will form part of the role and you will have the opportunity to own and improve processes with the support of the Regional Manager
Requirements
- High academic record to date in the following fields of study: Agricultural Science, Agribusiness or related discipline; and expected minimum of a 2.2 honours primary degree
- Ambition to progress successfully in a career in agribusiness in an exciting, ever-changing and challenging environment
- Drives collaboration and builds partnerships to meet shared objectives
- Communicates clearly and can influence at all levels
- Demonstrates a thirst for knowledge with a desire to continually learn and grow
- Analytically minded with the ability to develop creative insights and execute change
