As a Model Ops Developer, you will be focused on the implementation and operationalisation of various models within the bank. This includes developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining models in production environments. You will help to ensure the accuracy of our models and processes based on data to support the betterment of the bank through anomaly detection, optimise logistics to minimise costs/efforts and to make recommendations based on data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Help deploy models into production environments, ensuring they are scalable and reliable.
- Work with your team to monitor model performance, detect anomalies, and update models as needed to maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Automate the end-to-end pipeline, including data preprocessing, model training, and deployment, to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention.
- Work closely with data scientists to understand model requirements and with DevOps teams to integrate models into the broader IT infrastructure.
- Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate seamless model updates and deployments.
- Ensure that deployed models adhere to security best practices and comply with relevant data privacy and protection regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Behavioural Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, IT, or Cyber Security.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, VBA, Python and R.
- Skills in setting up monitoring and logging systems to track model performance and detect issues.
- Skills in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data transformation.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of project management and issue tracking platforms like Jira
- Understanding of security best practices for handling sensitive data.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to data privacy and protection (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
This is a permanent role based in Dublin (Hybrid).
