Modern Work & Microsoft Security Practice Lead
About This Role:
The MWMS Practice Lead is responsible for these Microsoft Pillars within the eir evo team. Leading pre-sales, commercial, and strategic engagements. This is a pivotal role within the Microsoft Practice. The Practice consolidates technical, commercial, and strategic engagement for the pillar aligned Microsoft suite of services. The role plays a key part in the development and execution of our Microsoft “all-up” growth strategy.
This is an exciting solution based, customer facing role with the opportunity to make a real impact on the success of eir evo and our Microsoft Partnership.
Reports to:Microsoft Practice Director
Location:Flexible, hybrid working with two to three days at the head office at HSQ2, Dublin.
Expectations From The Role:Strategy - Support the development of a robust annual growth strategy.
Pre-Sales – Work with the Sales and Delivery teams to identify and develop opportunities. Support and drive the Sales teams to grow the pipeline.
Opportunity Development - Identify a small number of key strategic target customers for growth. Prospect to identify projects and subsequently win projects.
Commercial – Work with the Commercial team to ensure accurate forecasts, management, and delivery accountability for the Microsoft budget. Support the CSP team with licensing engagements.
Marketing - Work with the Marketing & Comms team to agree go-to market activities. Including events, campaigns, case studies, and customer content.
Partnership - Play a key role in the management of the relationship with Microsoft. Attend monthly/quarterly reviews. Identify and lead on key engagements with Microsoft to enhance the partnership, including program usage, incentives, audits, and events.
Solutions - Working with Microsoft and eir evo product owners to evolve and define new solutions to bring to market. Present compelling business cases and represent new solutions.
Deliverables - Produce technical documentation, solution-led workshops, Sales enablement guides, product sheets.
Delivery - Support the Delivery team with escalations where required. Document approaches for upskilling and knowledge transfer.
Expertise - Assist with certification planning to ensure the Practice has the required certified skills set to maintain the existing, and any new, level of partnership
At least 5 years in a professional services delivery environment similar in size and complexity
Experience coming from a technical background, but with a good sense of the commercial side too.
Relevant Microsoft certifications are a must.
Experience working with or for a Microsoft Partner
Excellent interpersonal and customer engagement
Strong Stakeholder Management
Experience working on complex multiple projects
Consultative experience essential
Strong documentation skills
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.
Critical thinker with solid deductive reasoning skills
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
Ability to act as a mentor to junior team members
