Candidates must have at the latest date for receipt of applications for the post:-
1. Professional Qualifications, Experience etc.
(a) Be registered in the General Division of the live register of Nurses maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
and
(b) Have at least seven years’ (7) post registration Nursing experience and a minimum of three years nursing management experience at a minimum of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM 2) in the acute setting
and
(c) Hold a relevant post graduate award at level 8 or Higher standard in a health care or management related area.
and
(e) Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Post Specific Requirements
- Demonstrates depth and breadth of experience of clinical and professional managerial ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills in the acute hospital setting relevant to the role.
- Good working knowledge of HSE planning and recruitment processes for new service developments and existing funded posts.
