Candidates must have at the latest date of application: -

1.Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc

(a) (i) Possess the relevant QQI Further Education and Training (FET) Level 5 Certificate in Health Service Skills

Or

(ii) FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support

Or

(iii) A relevant Healthcare qualification

And

(b) Have a minimum of 3 years working in healthcare support services

And

(c) Have completed a Level 2 HACCP food hygiene management course.

Post Specific Requirements

· Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience working in a busy hospital environment which has involved interacting in a professional manner with management and other key internal and external stakeholders.

· Demonstrate depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in relation to HACCP and have a working knowledge of Catering within an acute hospital setting - also Infection Prevention and Control requirements in a Hospital environment.
