We are seeking an experienced Head of Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) to join our Site Leadership Team and lead the delivery of technical excellence across manufacturing operations.
The Role
Reporting as part of the Site Leadership Team, you will lead the MS&T function, ensuring the successful delivery of objectives across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People. You will drive product lifecycle management, technical transfers, new product introduction, process improvements and remediation activities while supporting the site's strategic goals.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) to join our Site Leadership Team and lead the delivery of technical excellence across manufacturing operations.
The Role
Reporting as part of the Site Leadership Team, you will lead the MS&T function, ensuring the successful delivery of objectives across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People. You will drive product lifecycle management, technical transfers, new product introduction, process improvements and remediation activities while supporting the site's strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the site MS&T function in partnership with Operations.
- Managing product and process investigations, remediation programmes and process performance reviews.
- Acting as the site lead for New Product Introduction (NPI), Existing Product Development (EPD), Technology Transfer (TT) and process improvement activities.
- Delivering technical and capital projects on time, within budget and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identifying and implementing process, equipment and facility improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Supporting validation activities, continuous improvement initiatives and technology transfer projects.
- Leading, coaching and developing technical teams while fostering a strong culture of safety, quality and innovation.
- Building effective relationships with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, R&D, Product Development and Regulatory Affairs.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Significant experience in pharmaceutical technical operations, manufacturing and/or engineering.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Strong project and change management skills.
- Experience in product lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in NPI, EPD and Technology Transfer projects.
- Validation expertise (process and cleaning validation).
- Process development, troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.
- Experience leading technical transfers and site-level implementation projects.
- Understanding of veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
