Multi-task Attendant, Community Healthcare Area

The role of the Multitask Attendant (MTA) is to work as part of a team in the delivery of high quality, person centred direct and indirect care to patients/ residents/ service users, under the direction of qualified nursing/other designated officer.

To provide direct and indirect day-to-day care for residents. Support the provision of a high quality, hygienic and customer focused service including:

• Assisting Nurses and healthcare staff in caring for residents.

• Use a person-centred approach to high quality resident care.

• Provide high standards in housekeeping, catering, laundry, portering or general duties as assigned.

• Promote service user choice and independence.

• Complete the relevant documentation as required as part of the role.

• Adhere to HSE policies and procedures
