Multi Task Attendant

Community Healthcare Sligo Leitrim is responsible for the delivery of Primary and Community-based Services to meet the needs of local communities.

Community healthcare services are the broad range of services, which, are provided outside of the acute hospital system and include Primary Care, Social Care, Mental Health, and Health and Wellbeing Services. These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to people’s homes.

Service delivery is being re-oriented towards General Practice, Primary Care and Community-Based services. By prioritising Primary Care and Community Services, we are advancing the goals of Sláintecare.

The post holder will report to a designated line manager or their delegate relevant to the specific caring, cleaning catering role assigned.

The role of the Multi Task Attendant (MTA) is to work as part of a team in the delivery of high quality, person centred direct and indirect care to patients/ residents/ service users, under the direction of qualified nursing/other designated officer.
