Multi-task Attendant

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Clean in accordance with Hospital Cleaning standards.
• To be observant for spillages and act promptly to ensure they are properly dealt with.
• Use appropriate equipment as supplied by Hospital to carry out daily tasks.
• To move furniture as relevant to clean behind and underneath, with assistance from other ward/department staff as required.
• Carry out laundry/ linen duties as required.
• Attend to linen skips that are 2/3 full on Delivery Suite, Theatre and NICU sluice areas.
• Provide waste management duties including the transportation of general and clinical waste (including tagging system) in line with national and locally devised policies and standards.
