Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this post is to provide a music therapy service to children attending CHI with a wide range of needs, who may be long or short-term patients in the hospital. Services will include assessments, consultations, and/or ongoing treatment.

Essential Criteria:

• Recognised Masters Level Qualification in Music Therapy (please attach a copy of you degree to your application)

• Member of the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists/ the British Association of Music Therapists or equivalent (please attach a copy of your membership to your application)

• Experience working with infants, children and/or adolescents (please indicate your experience in Cover letter)

• Comfortable and confident with vocal and guitar/and other accompaniment skills adolescents (please indicate your experience in Cover letter)
