NAAS-- - Radiographer, Senior

Naas General Hospital are currently recruiting for Radiographer, Senior (Ultrasound)

There are currently three permanent whole-time vacancies available in the Radiology Department, Naas General Hospital.

A panel may be created from this campaign for Naas General Hospital from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full time or part time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the Post:

The post is a Radiographer, Senior post, to provide ultrasound and diagnostic imaging services for the Radiology Department/ Naas General Hospital

Eligibility Criteria Qualifications and/ or Experience

1.Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.

a) Candidates for appointment must:

i) Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU. (https://www.coru.ie/

And

ii) Have 3 years fulltime (or an aggregate of 3 years) post qualification clinical experience.

And

iii) Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

And

Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued

2.Annual Registration

(i) On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.

And

(ii) Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).

Post Specific

• ·Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the modality of Ultrasound as relevant to the role and hold a recognised post graduate qualification in Ultrasound, to Diploma or MSc. level.

Other Requirements Specific to the post

• A commitment to provide out of hours on-call services is a requirement of this post.
