Role Purpose:
This is a graduate placement position for Digital Adoption & Training Specialist within the team of the BPI, IT & Cyber Department.
The Role of Digital Adoption Specialist is as follows:
• Enable our staff to use digital tools to their fullest extent and intended purpose.
• Understand the challenges that staff have in relation to the use of digital technologies and create and deliver innovative solutions to address them with a particular emphasis on AI adoption.
• Uplift the level of digital literacy across the organisation by providing practical advice to individuals and business units who are looking to utilise digital technology to improve internal processes and service delivery.
Key Deliverables:
The successful candidate will join the BPI, IT & Cyber team whose responsibilities are to lead and assist in:
• Create engaging digital content and video communications to support technology initiatives.
• Deliver clear messages on new technologies and IT changes to drive awareness and adoption.
• Building an understanding regarding the level of digital literacy across the organisation and identify key areas to focus on that will deliver real benefits.
• Providing input on the staff impact of potential roll out of new digital technologies and suggest actions to address the impact.
• Delivering training sessions on digital technologies on a one-to-one and group basis and create promotional materials for digital and physical campaigns to solve common workplace problems and improve productivity.
• Working with the Organisational Development Team to ensure that online learning courses are available and appropriate to addressing digital literacy challenges.
• Acting as a subject matter expert to support the adoption of digital technologies.
• Encouraging and support a network of ‘digital champions’ across the organisation.
• Assisting with the rollout and staff adoption of large-scale digital initiatives.
• Experience working with staff and senior decision makers across the organisation.

Functional Competencies (Key Skills and Knowledge):
• A minimum of a (NFQI Level 8) 2.2 degree with ideally a digital technology focus is essential.
• Completed your degree between January 2024, and August 2026 is essential.
• Strong skills with Office365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and creating digital content is essential.
• A keen interest and enthusiasm in emerging digital technology such as generative AI is essential.
• Relevant work experience is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate how digital technology can solve real world business problems is desirable.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to build and maintain networks across teams to support communication, engagement, and adoption initiatives.
• Experience facilitating workshops, briefings, and awareness sessions on technology-related topics.
• Strong work ethic; self-starter & highly motivated. Ability to meet & exceed project deadlines & milestones.
• Strong project and task management capabilities across multiple priorities.
