National Projects Manager (Together for Hospice)

  • Grade V
  • 1.0 WTE (35 hours)
  • Indefinite duration contract
  • H.S.E. funded
  • Based in Harold’s Cross

The successful candidate will be responsible to deliver growth and sustainability in national fundraising activities for hospice and palliative homecare groups across Ireland.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for delivering and driving growth in two national fundraising campaigns: ‘Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning Social for Hospice’ and ‘Hospice Sunflower Days.’ The role will also be responsible for the coordination of national hospice and palliative homecare group communications and the ongoing development and implementation of the Together for Hospice brand strategy.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a third level degree qualification
  • Full drivers license and access to own car.

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in senior level campaigns and events management or project management
  • Experience in budget management
  • Experience working with third parties (Creative / PR / Media / digital agencies)
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills with experience in managing relationships with high level sponsors
  • Experience in developing and reporting upon strategic activity plans
  • Demonstrate creativity, drive, dynamism, commitment, attention to detail and best practice in all activities
  • Ability to work independently

Desirable Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Masters in event or project management.

Experience:

  • Experience in sponsor recruitment
  • Experience in the Fundraising sector
  • Experience of Palliative care
  • Experience client or agency side in a marketing / brand / event / project management role.
