Vacancy: Network Engineer

Grade: V (0566)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent Contract

Key Role:

The position of Grade V Network Engineer encompasses management, maintenance, technical support, and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

Essential Qualification and Experience:

• A relevant third-level qualification in Information Technology or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1+ year Experience working with Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience supporting broadband and telecommunications services.
• Experience deploying & supporting mobile phones.
• Experience supporting endpoint security platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting network, connectivity and infrastructure issues.
• Hold a full, clean Irish Category B Driving License.
• Be willing to travel between Organisational locations as required.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

• Suitable technical qualifications (such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+)
• Experience supporting enterprise firewall solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune / Citrix MDM.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in a multi-site Organisation.
• Experience working within an ITIL-aligned support environment.

Salary Scale – Grade V (5066): Successful candidates will be paid in line with HSE revised consolidated June 2026 Maintenance Foreman Salary Scale pay scale point 1; €52,758 to Point 7 €63,110 LSIs pro rata per annum which is based on working a 35-hour week.
