At Sunbeam House Services, we are passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling, meaningful lives. We are now looking for a Neurodiversity Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team and lead the development of compassionate, neuro-affirmative care.

This is a unique opportunity to shape how services are delivered for individuals with autism, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental differences — ensuring their voices, strengths and needs are at the heart of everything we do.

�� About the Role

This is more than a clinical position — it’s a chance to lead, influence and innovate.

You will:

• Provide specialist assessment, care planning and clinical guidance for individuals with complex neurodevelopmental needs
• Champion neuro-affirmative, trauma-informed and person-centred practice
• Lead the development of care pathways that improve consistency and outcomes
• Support smooth transitions across life stages and services
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT), supporting staff, families and services
• Drive quality improvement and best practice across the organisation

�� What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced nurse who brings both clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to inclusive, person-centred care.

You’ll have:

• Registration as a nurse with relevant experience (ID, mental health, disability or related fields)
• Strong knowledge of autism, ADHD and neurodiversity
• Experience in complex case management and MDT working
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• A passion for improving services and empowering others

Desirable: Additional training or experience in neurodevelopmental practice, trauma-informed care, or service development.

Salary scale: €62,699 – €79,227 (LSI) Clinical Nurse Specialist – ID
(Aligned with public sector pay scales and experience)
