About the Role

The role involves the qualification and collection of new delivery restaurant leads that will be validated and allocated to our team of Territory Managers throughout the country. The New Business team manages all aspects of merchandise/webstore where we sell branded packaging and products to our restaurant partners. This role also manages restaurant activation and last mile visibility, two key performance metrics in our business. The role requires close relationships with our Restaurant Partners, our Sales, Marketing & Operations teams. It requires a fast-thinking and highly analytical individual, but also someone who is very well organised with great attention to detail.

It is essential that this individual has the skills of a Merchandiser whilst always looking for the next Just Eat opportunity within the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help build a firm leads list of restaurant partners for our Territory Manager team
  • Support the Territory Manager team in activating , branding and training restaurant staff to the Just Eat delivery model.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing restaurant customers
  • The job role of the New Business Executive is to sell and supply merchandise via the Just Eat partner webstore. This branded packaging and products help to maximise sales potential and raise brand awareness
  • Handle all customer queries and liaise with office team for support
  • The role will also grow our restaurant activation, carrying out branding of the restaurant estate using our key assets, such as window stickers, open/close signs, microsites and courier gear.
  • This person will also work in collaboration with the sales team and marketing team to help our restaurants increase their orders.
  • The role requires strong communication and relationship building across multiple functions and in particular with our restaurant partners
  • Strong management and organisational skills are required to ensure timely delivery and availability of merchandise, branded assets etc.

Required skills and experience

  • Must have direct sales experience
  • Knowledge of the Restaurant Industry in Ireland
  • Sales & merchandising experience
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders in sales, marketing and operations
  • New business development
  • Full clean driver’s license
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools beneficial
