Night Sales Assistant Centra | Texaco

We are currently expanding our nights teams across some of our Texaco/Centra stores in North Dublin and are now recruiting for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our Airside store.

This will include four night shifts per week from 11:00pm to 07:00am

Role purpose:

To supervise all aspects of the retail store including the sales, profitability, waste and quality of all products, displays and customer service. Work collaboratively with the site management and colleagues to help drive the store. This would suit someone who has experience in delivering a first class customer experience and has a natural flair for working with a team while also enjoying extra responsibility.

Customer Service

• Ensure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority and consistently deliver and exceptional service by displaying I-CARE service excellence behaviours.
• Professionally handle all customer queries and complaints in line with company policy, in a timely manner and escalate where appropriate.

Operations & Standards:

• Ensure and take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day running of all aspects of the site.
• Ensure that the site reflects company’s standards of merchandising, presentation and Customer Care.
• Deliver new concepts as created.
• Bring innovation to promotions and displays.

Stock Management:

• Ordering of stock from approved suppliers and in adherence to agreed product specification.
• Strictly follow stock rotation and control, traceability, correct storage and handling of each product.
• Record wastage and address daily and weekly.
• Ensure there is sufficient product for sale, yet keeping wastage levels to a minimum at all times.

Role requirements:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a busy retail environment.
• As an ambitious individual you will welcome opportunities to gain knowledge and assume additional responsibilities.
• Be self motivated as this role will require working on own initiative.
• Available to work from 23:00 – 07:00, 4 nights per week
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
• Thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
• You must be 18 years of age to work nights in our stores
