Screening programmes aim to reduce morbidity and mortality in the population by identifying those at risk of the condition/pre-condition, allowing free assessment, detection and treatment.

The post holder will work within the Assessment Secretary Team and have strong working relationships with the Clinical Director, BreastCheck Business Manager, BreastCheck Unit Manager, Breast Care Nursing Team, Radiography Services Manager, BreastCheck Unit Multidisciplinary Team and the BreastCheck Unit Administration team. The Post holder will be required to have line management responsibility for the BreastCheck Assessment Team. The post holder will lead and manage all aspects of the BreastCheck Assessment administration service and provide clerical/administrative support to the Assessment Service.
