The College is seeking applications for NW CAM2 Engineering Research & Innovation Project Manager (NW Centre for Advanced Manufacturing 2) to be based in our Greystone Campus for a fixed term position until September 2029.
The postholder will act as the NWRC Project Manager for the North West Centre for Advanced Manufacturing 2 (NW CAM2) project, leading the delivery of Strand 2 of the NWCAM2 programme. This involves working as part of the NW CAM2 collaboration with Ulster University (UU), Atlantic Technical University (ATU), Irish Manufacturing and Research (IMR), and Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and Catalyst, to support SMEs in the border regions of the island, in the Health & Life Sciences sector, with innovation roadmapping activity and assisting over 20 SMEs to adopt innovative manufacturing processes or product innovation, leading to measurable improvements in sustainability and competitiveness.
The role will provide targeted innovation, technology adoption, and sustainability support to SMEs, embedding advanced manufacturing processes, low-carbon solutions, and research outputs into practice. The postholder will also coordinate collaboration across academic partners and industry stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of measurable productivity, environmental, and competitiveness improvements.
North West Centre for Advanced Manufacturing 2 (NWCAM2) is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
