Occupational Therapist, Senior

There is currently various permanent / specified purpose / part time / whole-time vacancies available in the HSE South West across Cork and Kerry. Individual sites / location will be indicated at expression of interest stage to panel members for each individual job.

Purpose of the post:

  • · The Occupational Therapist, Senior will work as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care.
  • · To be responsible for the provision of a high quality Occupational Therapy Service in accordance with standards of professional practice
  • · To work in conjunction with other team members in co-ordinating and developing the service
  • · To meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation
  • · The Senior Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of a high quality Occupational Therapy service
  • · The Occupational Therapist will carry out clinical and educational duties as required.

Any specific requirements for individual posts will be indicated at expression of interest stage. This will include specialisms where clinical competencies in the areas of seating, cognition, neuro-rehab or autism may need to be demonstrated.
