Occupational Therapist, Staff Grade
Title of Post: Occupational Therapist, Staff Grade, HSE South West (Cork & Kerry)
Please note: Occupational Therapy students who are graduating in 2026 are eligible to apply for this campaign.
Location of Post:
A panel will be formed as a result of this campaign for Occupational Therapist vacancies in HSE South West (Cork & Kerry) and will be used to fill current and future, permanent and specified purpose posts of whole-time or part-time duration that arise in the areas of:
· Primary Care
· Social Care
· Mental Health
· Acute Physical Hospital
Individual sites/ location will be indicated at expression of interest stage to panel members for each individual job.
Candidates on existing national panels
If you are currently on the National Panel for Occupational Therapist, Staff Grade you will have received a separate communication by email. This communication will advise you as to whether or not the panel you are on is due to expire.
If the panel you are on is due to expire and you would still like to be considered for future Occupational Therapist, Staff Grade opportunities, you may wish to apply for this new supplementary campaign.
Details of Service
The person appointed to this post will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a coordinated approach to client care. S/he may be required to work as a key worker for particular cases.
Please note more post specific information will be provided to candidates at the ‘expression of interest’ stage of the recruitment process.
Purpose of the Post
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy service to a designated clinical area(s) and will carry out clinical and educational duties as assigned by the Senior Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapist Manager.
