The Role

Due to a high growth trajectory and a strong pipeline of work, our client is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician Apprentice on a permanent basis. This position will see you on the road several days a week ensuring you deliver quality service and repairs to ensure the customer is always satisfied.

Key Apprentice Learning Responsibilities Include Assisting Technician with the following:

• Serve existing and new accounts by analysing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests and resolving problems

• Provide service by learning system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests

• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements

• Ensure maximum H&S protocols are followed at all times

What we are looking for:

• Aptitude for this position and industry is required

• Interest in electrical, mechanical & pneumatics

• Excellent client-facing and communication skills

• High focus on Quality and attention to detail

• Comfortable taking instruction and complying to rules

• Highly organised and process driven

• Comfortable using own initiative and taking ownership of processes
